Glue the thermistor into the holder and pot it with 5 minute epoxy. When cured, twist the holder back into place and reinstall the mirror assembly. Now your outside air temperature will read correctly. Total time less than one hour. Cost just over one dollar and I'm ready to repair my OAT sensor nine more times.

Points. 469. Nov 22, 2022. #4. A remote possibility, which may have been eliminated when the MAF Sensor was changed, is mice in the air filter. The debris created by their activites can damage the sensor, and get into the turbo. Relatively easy, and inexpensive to eliminate as a possible cause.
The input turbine speed sensor is located just behind the bell housing area of the case. I believe the trans controller is the only module that needs that info.
